BOMBS DROPPED ON A ZEPPELIN SHED. EFFECTS OF THE RAID ON KARLSRUHE. LONDON, .lune 17. An Amsterdam message states that three Knglish airmen dropped three; bouihs on a Zeppelin st.c.l at t Irt-ndrade. south of t.hetit. The extent of the damage effected is not known. It is reported from Copenhagen that tho barracks and a munitions factory ■Were destroyed at Karlsruhe. In connection with the Zeppelin raid on .lune 7. which was. also on the north-east .oast. 24 civilians, including ."> men, 1:1 women, anil tl children, were killed. A drapery store, a timber yard, and a terrace of small houses were burned. A neutral who was at Kail.-iuhe ,luring the air raid says that .">0 bombs were dropped. They almost destroyed the palace, which was the headquarters of the local commander. Three ollicers and two soldiers were killed iv the palace, nnd over 200 persons were killed in other parts of the town. ZEPPELIN EXPERTS PERTURBED. WILL HAVE TO ALTER THEIR SYSTEM. A message received via Switzerland says that Count Zeppelin's technical assistants at Fredcrchschafen arc greatly perturbed nt Flight-Lieutenant Wnriicfor.l's success in destroying a dirigible in Belgium. Count Zeppelin always represented the danger of attack by aeroplane as negligible. His expert advisors now My that it will etthci be necessary to increase the buoyancy of Zeppelins hv carrying fewer men and l-nnhs. or there will have to be a radical change in design.
