The following is Mr. D. C. Bates' weather forecast for 24 hours from 0 ajn this day:—"The indications are foi westerly winds, strong to gale, and veer ing by west to south. The weather will probably prove squally, with heavy showers, and become very cold. Barmeter unsteady, but rising shortly Tides good. Sea rough otT shore.''
