SUICIDE AT TE AROHA. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TE AROHA, this day. At 8.30 o'clock last evening George Pereival Bridgman, a middle-aged man on a visit to Te Aroha. shot himself dead with a revolver at a boardinghouse. He had been in ill-health, but gave no indications of ending his life. A young lad sleeping in the next room to Bridgman heard the rpport of a shot, and found Bridgman on the floor and a revolver lying on the bed. Bridgman is stated to have resided for some time in the Kawhia district, but recently had been in Te Awamutu. Ho is supposed to have been in the Public Service. An inquest is to be held to-day.
