The Government is asking /or a general vote of a credit of £250,000,000 for the year ending March, 1916. for the purpose of assisting trade and commerce, ihe facilitating f Uie raising of funds l>y the Dominions, and other measures for national security. This.vote is apart from the ordinary grants arising out of tire war. The Government also asks for a supplementary vote of £37,000.000 for the war for the year ending next month, making the current year's total £362,000,000.
