PRESENTATION TO L. WESTON. j A pleasing function took place at the College Rifles' Club Rooms last evening. On behalf of tne members. Captain Dawson presented Mr. 1.. H. Weston with a suit case on the occasion of bis being selected in the Dominion team t.> tour Australia. The speaker stilled that ttiomrh his absence from their team as a captain and a player would be most keenly felt. the BUtefl were proml that their captain had attained so tiisll an honour. The secretary. Mr. H. Clay, then rend a letter, formally congratulating Mr. Weston, and wishing him an enjoyable and successful tour. Mr. Weston suitably responded, and thanked his fellow members tor their presentation and good wishes.
