Short (chairman) and Mr. Lethaby. representing the Ponsonby Schools Committee, again interviewed Mr. Garland (chairman) and Mr. Crowe (secretary) ot the Board of Education, this morning, and made, further representations a.s to the need for a large hall for the. householders' annual meeting. It was made clear to them that the meeting having been advertised for Ail Saints' schoolroom, to hold in it any other building would render the pro.eeduige invalid, and they were reluctantly compelled ;o recognise the position. r
