"That, in view of the proved efficacy of crushed papa to clay land in Kangitikei. the J>-partn)ent of Agriculture be asked to make cxtorarive cxpermients with came."' "That the attention o£ the Dominion executive be drawn to the large increase in sea freight- on the staple products." "That the jury system be altered. ,-o that a man who has served as a jutvman shall be exempt for twelve months." "That the Government be asked to do away with the. registration of dogs owned by 'Maoris, in order to abate Sheep-worrying." "That motor-drivers be licensed by the Government.'' "That the Government be asked to reduce the quarantine expenses on pigs imported from Australia.'' Mr. T. Moss, of Ekeiahuna. was elected president, and Mr. G. 1- Marshall vice-president. All of the other officers were re-elected, with the exception of Mr. J. 0. Wilson, who declined nomination for the presidency, and wae appointed to the executive in the place ol Mr. John Morrison, of Halcombe. It wae decided that the next conference ehoald be held at Palmerston. ■ j
