WAIKATO WINTER SHOW.
So great are the demamls for space at the VVaikato Winter Show, which opens next Tuesday, that the committee has, at the last moment, decided to erect further buildings, giving a total covered area of 75.000 square feet. The increase this year alone is equal to the total area available at. the first show held under the auspices of the Association seven years ago. 'Jlio entries constitute a record f" r the Dominion, being 1.500 in advance of any nther show, while the butter exhibit in itself eompri«>s no less than "2fi4 entries, which has not been surpassed at any exhibition in either island. The whole of the main ha.ll will this var l>e devoted to ma<hinery in motion, a separate building being given over to each of tin? other sections. A large army of workmen is engaged on the decorations, the intention of the president. Mr. F. V.. Smith, being to make the exhibition, apart from the exhibits, as attractive as possible.
