THE WELLINGTON FIRE.
A THIUD VICTIM. (Ry Telegraph.—Press Association.) WKUJ-NCTOX. this day. A third death h-as occurred as the re.sult. of tho fire which occurred in a hoarding house in Courtenay l'hu-e on .May I"- A wharf labourer named .1. S. Stevenson. MmmoTilv known as "lack Smith." aged •'!.'!, died in hospital this morning. He had severe burns on the ■face and body, but was apparently ma-k----ing good progress till this morning. When admitted, he had influenza, which turned to .pneumonia. He -was a single man, and has relatives at Waimate.
