(By Telegraph.—m Correspondent.) WHAJJOAEEI, WednesdayMessrs. MaeDonald and Seddtra, M-P.'e, addrereed the edectore at Hikarangi laot night in the Liberal intereete, end Messrs. Witty and , Thomson, MJVa, ateo addressed a eimilar meeting at Wbakapara. At the Hikurahgi meeting there was a very large attendance, and the audience gave the speakers the cloeest attention. Mr. Seddon dealt particularly with mining legifilation. Mr. McDonald epake on finance and land settlement, taking the Govenuwnt'e policy severely to tafik. A vote of tbanke to the speakera and confidence in the Liberal .party was carried by an overwhelming majority- An amendment of : no-confidence in either the Liberal or the Reform party, but of confidence in the Labour party, lapsed for -want of a seconder. (Bγ Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) KAWAKAWA, Wednesday. Messrs Mac Donald and Thompson, Liberal M.P.'s, addressed one of the largest and most enthusiastic public meetings ever held in Kawakav/a. The speakers were accorded a splendid reception, and at the conclusion of their addresses practically a unanimous v>te of thanks was passed, alfio "that this meeting has trnaibated confidence in the liberal party with Sir Joeeph Ward as their leader."
