DOMINIONS AND THE NAVY.
ADMIRALTY'S VACILLATION. LENDING OFFICERS ABBOAD. (Tlines-Ejdney Suii Special Cable.) (Received 8.50 a.m.) LONDON, February 24. Admiral Henderson in a letter to the "Times" accuses the Admiralty of want of a settled policy respecting the Dominion navies and the Pacific He insists that if the policy adopted by Australia in 1911 had been given sympathy and support, all the Dominions would soon have come into line, i Unhappily Canada had been encouraged to reverse that policy, whilst Australians enthusiasm had been met by lukewarniness. He concludes: "We encourage the Turks and Greeks to build and organise their navies by lending some of our best officers. If we can do it for them we should at least spare no effort to do it for the Dominions.
