Yesterday afternoon fire broke out in the bush towards the northern portion of Te Aroha mountain, and quickly spread along about 50 chains southward., the flames running to a considerable Weight up the mountain. The lire continued all night, and a large acreage of valuable bush scenery was destroyed.
