A MOUNTAIN ABLAZE.
CONFLAGRATION AT TE AB.CHA VALUABLE BUSH DESTROYED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TE AROHA, this day. Yesterday afternoon fire broke out in the bush towards the northern portion of Te Aroha mountain, and quickly spread along about 50 chains southward., the flames running to a considerable Weight up the mountain. The lire continued all night, and a large acreage of valuable bush scenery was destroyed. The area affected adjoins the 'borough reservoir, and the fire may have a detrimental effect on the town water supply. The fi.re.is thought to have been caused jby -a- caTekL-6 picnic party; " ~
