NAPIER, Monday. About dusk to-night the Rev. V. W. M. Cockerill, vicar of Waipawa, was returning home on a motor cycle when as collided with a horse and gig. He *™ removed from beneath the horses tea to the roadside, when it was apparent w was in urgent need of medical attention A motor car was procured and lie w » removed to the county hospital, waer" he died shortly afterwards.
