ST. JAMES' CHURCH.
MEETING OF CONGREGATION. A business meeting of the congregation of St. .lames' Church was held in the church hall last evening, the Moderator l Rev. R. Somerville) presiding over a good attendance. The report of Mr Richardson (session clerk) showed that a number of new communicants had been admitted, and that the spiritual welfare of the church was receiving the attention of the Rev. Hugh Beggs in the absence of the Rev. R, L. Walker, who is at present in the Old Country. The secretary (Mr W. Brigham) presented mc report of the management committee, showing that the church was on a sound financial footing, and that £172 had been contributed to foreign missions during the year. The following new management committee was elected: Messrs Eccles, Carson. Brigham, Jones, Voting, Russell, Parker. Black, and Stewart. -Messrs McGregor and Driimmonci were appointed auditors.
