EXHIBITION FINANCE.
The finances of the Auckland Exhibition were considered at an ordinary meeting of the Finance Committee this afternoon, those present, being t.he president l>Mr <;eo. Klliot). Messrs L. I. BagnalL V. .1. Lamer. S. J. Nathan, .Ino. Reid. Alex. Burt, and the secretary I Mr W. K. Holmes). Accounts amounting to £3.722 6/11 were passed for payment, and Ihe secretary reported that this would bring the debit balance to date up to i;tj.S72 14/7.
The total paid for space to date, it was stated, was £10,2*12 14/6. and a sum of over 02.000 was still due from this source. Mem-bera expressed satisfaction with the financial outlook.
The president said that there was no doubt in his mind that all the buildings would be ready by October 1.
