VICTORIA'S POLITICS.
CENSURE MOTION LOST. CABINET REORGANISATION. MELBOURNE, July 29. Tbe State political crisis abruptly terminated to-day. A meeting of Liberals outside the Ministry adopted a series of resolutions that the best interests of the party would be served by allowing the motion of want of confidence in the Government to lapse, that, while willingly recognising the leadership of Mr Watt, Liberals consider the Government, as constituted, did not represent the best judgment of the party, and therefore tbe Government should frankly acknowledge the situation, and give Mr Watt a free hand in the reconstruction of the Government.
When the Assembly met to-day Mr McLeod requested the withdrawal of his want of i-onfidence motion. The "Leader nf the Labour party demurred at this, and Mr McLeod and seven other Liberals thereupon left the Chamber.
On a division, the want-of-eonfidenee motion was negatived by .12 to 10. the minority consisting of the Labour party and one Liberal.
In view of the tone of the resolutions the Liberal meeting adopted, it is believed that another crisis is pending.
