BOXING.
KEYS V. SUMMERS. The training work of "Hock" Keys, who is to meet "Johnny" Summers next Wednesday, atrraots a large number of spectators. The Australian is getting through a solid preparation, and appears to be very well. Yesterday afternoon he nosed six willing rounds, three each with Ellis and Bromwieh. and the pace was on all tbe way Keys showed considerable cleverness and greatly pleased the spectators. In addition to the sparring the Australian got through the usual exercises, and his trainer GoMen gives the opinioti that no man ever entered tbe ring fitter than Keys will be on Wednesday next.
The names of Messrs Dyer. Burns, and Keesing will be submitted to the box.?rs to choose a referee from, and in the event of their failing to agree the Association will make the appointment.
