The Auckland City Prohibition League supplies the following record of offences attributed to drink dealt -with at the City Police Court during ihe month of April, as reported in the daily Press: — Drunkenness: First offenders, 100; others, 92; breaches of prohibition ordere, 19; drunk while in charge of a horse and cart, 1; disorderly -while drunk, 5; disorderly while drunk in a railway carriage, 1. Thirteen new prohibition orders were issued, two being against women.
