GRAVEL PIT FATALITY.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) 1X VERiCA RC! ILL, Tuesday. A fatal accident occurred at Hedgehope yesterday afternoon. A young man, i.i years of Jige. working in a grave! pit when a fall of earth came, down suddenly, crushing him against a dray. Death was instantaneous, his skull be.ing fractured and his neck broken. He was known in the locality as "Sandy," and was said to have come from the Gore cjietrict.
