PORTUGUESE UNREST.
BIG SEIZURE OF BOMBS. A MODERNIST CABINET. (Received 11.5 a.m.) LISBON, April 29. The Modefnist Federation's headquarters were raided to-day, and 183 bombs were seized. The Premier, speaking in the Chamber, described the organisers of the movement as hypocrites and anti-Republicans, who were too cowardly to make a stand. The newspapers assert that the conspirators formed a Ministry under Senor Lima (ex-Premier), who is at present in Zurich. A mysterious occurrence is reported aboard the cruiser Sao Gabriel. Several shots were fired seawards, but though the crew was paraded, the culprits were not detected.
