DUCHESS OF CONNAUGHTS HEALTH.

LONDON, April 29. An operation upon the Duchess of Connaught is necessary owing to widespread inflammatory adhesions. Considering the gravity of the operation, the condition of the Duchess is satisfactory. Her temperature is normal. The King visited the Duke to-day to inquire as to the health of the Duchess.
