(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TE AAVAMUTU, this day. Considcrab'e interest centres in the Auckland provincial polo tournament at •Greenhill polo grounds, Te Awamutu, today. A large number of visitors from all parts of the province are present, and the games are being witnessed by a large number of spectators. Six teams etcered, viz.: Hamilton—AY. H. Hume, R. ,1. Dodd, A. L. Yule, J. C. Potts; emergency, A\'. AVilsou. Ohanpo—AV. Taylor, F. Potts, J. Graham, It. Atchison. Cambridge—lnncs Taylor, H. Crowther, F. Vosper, C. Peake. AVaitomo— .1. C. Miller, AY. I. Hunt. C. McDonald, B. Board; emergency, E. Martin. Te Awamutu A—AY. G. Kay. .T. K. Kay, F. Taylor, A. Taylor. Te Awamutu 15— G. Teasdale, D. Kay, H. Kay; emergency, H. de L. Peake. The weather Is favourable and the turf Arm after the heavy rains of yesterday. The first round is now beiiig played. This morning Te Awamutu B beat Cambridge, 7—5. It was a good fast game, and very exciting. At the end of the fourth spell Ohaupo was leading AVaitomo, 2—o. Te Awamutu A and Hamilton are to play this afternoou. The matches for the handicap cup commence on Wednesday. The tournament will not conclude until Saturday. liocal Interest is greater on -account of the Te Awamutu team being runners-up for the Savile' Cup competition at Palmerston North last week.'
