FOL/LOWIXG RECIPE PROVES. BY A QUALIFIED CHEMIST. This recipe makes a pint of better. Cough Syrup than can be 'bought ready prepared. Simple as it is, no better remedy can be obtained for general family purposes, and tho fact that it makes a pint at a total cost, of 1/6 instead of twelve shillings is making, it wonderfully popular. Get one bottle of Hean's Essence from your chemist or grocer, and mix it with sugar, treacle and water as per the simple directions on Hean's Essence label. The mixture you thus prepare in your own home eaves quite a lot of money, and takes hold of a cough in a way that means 'business from the first dose. It is a splendid remedy for sore throats, hoarseness, croup, bronchitis, asthma, and the usual throat and lung troubles. It does not contain .any poison. Give a few drops to a child or a spoonful to an ndulfc. It has also a good tonic effect, helps the appetite, and is very slightly laxative, too, which is helpful. Ilean's Essence is now sold at Ecdes' Pharmacies and by most chemists and grocers.
