ASLEEP ON THE LINE.

RAILWAYMAN KILLED. (Received 10.20 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. A peculiar railway accident occurred at Murrurundi. A driver named Sharp and a fireman named Whelihan got off the engine and sat down on a little-used line. Apparently both dozed until a light engine came along and ran over them. Sharp was killed and Whelihan was badly injured.
