DOMINIONS IN LONDON.

ONB SITE" FOR ALL. EARL GREY'S SCHEME. LONDON, March 3. The Improvements Committee of the London County Council has recommended the Council to grant Earl (ex-Governor-General of Canada) £3,000 a year for the option for two years of taking the Strand Crescent site, containing 124,000 square feet, at an annual rental of £50,000. EaTl Grey's idea is to induce the various Overseas Dominions to concentrate their offices on the site. Another feature of the scheme is to provide accommodation for the commercial and social needs of the Dominions, including a permanent and up-to-date exhibition of manufactured articles used in the Dominions, with a statement of the facilities for Home manufacturers getting into touch with customers in the Dominions.
