VIOLENT PRISONER.
NEARLY THROTTLES JUDGE. (Received 5.5 a.m.) ROME : February 24. A prisoner belonging to the Camorrists, upon receiving a sentence for theft, felled his guards, escaped from the dock, and almost throttled the Judge before he was recaptured.
