TREVANION'S ESTATE.
A KSCKCVER APPOINTED. ; (Received 8.53 ajn.) LONDON, February 3. The Probate Court has appointed a receiver in Trevanioirs estate, pending the hearing of the cases now pending. The mysterious death of Mr. Hugh Eric ! Treyanion took place at Hove on September 11 from what is supposed to have been an overdose cf veronal. Mr. Trevamon was 27 years of age. He was a nephew of Sir William Cooper. Bart., and a grandson of the late Sir Daniel Cooper, first Speaker of the Legislative Assembly in New South Wales. Trevanipn was addicted to drugs, and was a man of money, and related to several families connected with the peerage. He was decidedly eccentric, and was regarded as rather effeminate in his habits. His hair wed to be artificially waved, and he wore on Ms breast a diamond cross worth thousands. He was the owner of several motor-cars, and spent money lavishly upon his friends, all of whom were of his own sex. Mr. Roe toured 9 the world with Trevankra, and at the first inquest, before the body was exhumed, said that the <feeeased took an overdose of veronal.
