jjUnffiTPM OF 30/ A WEEK. fOE FOSTY-EIGHT HOURS. NATIONALISATION OF UTILITIES. Received 12.40 p.m.) LONDON , , September 6. The Congress urged the Government fo introduce a Shops Bill, providing for 60 hours a week, inclusive of meal time. It unanimously instructed the Parliamentary Commit to introduce, a bill providing for a. minimum of 30/ a week of 48 bours for all adult workers. It was resolved to demand nationalisation of all land, mineral?, mines, railways, and canal?. Jlr. Smillip announced that the national campaign would be undertaken for the nationalisation of mines. The Congress decided to insist on a jDJnimum wage for stage hands.
