Replying to Socialists, Herr yon Soded (Bavarian Minister for the Interior) deprecated the deamess of food, but said i» the agitation against duties were restrmed it would lead to a collapse of Germany's economic life. The Government contemplated legislation to facilitate the importation of fresh meat.
