Spring Show Srhedlilc—The report of the committee appointed to consider the schedule of the Metropolitan Spring Show van read mid adopted, together with, a suggestion by Mr. J. G. Jtutherford that a prize of a;:; ;i/ and ribbon, be given for the champion harness horse. Mr. lUitnerforxl also »ara,T.Hd that a. prize- of £.'! 3/ or gold modal be given for lie champion Ayrshire ■bull; also that prizes of £5 5/ and £3 3/ be given respectively for the champion ram and ewe In the Lincoln. English Leicester ttomnej, and Shropshire chisses. This was approved. Campbell Show <• round.—lt was resolved to re-let the grazing of the Campbell Show Ground, subject to the granting of the -usual concessions at sluxv time. Luncheon. Arrangements.—lt was resolved that tenders for the supply of a public luncheon be called 14 days before the auction sale of pri-riicyes; also that the whole matter be placed in the hands of the cnairmao. It was aOso decided that tenders for the supply of tiot -water to the public be also called for, though the secretary mentioned -Uiut the public had not availed ltsetf of .the privilege at the last thaw. Trophy for Jerseys.—The Secretary of ■tie New Zealand Jersey Cattle Breeders , .Association wrote stating that the council of tie Association had pleasure in offering a silver trophy, value IT guineas, for competition for the best three Jersey cows In milli, bred and shown by one exhibitor ■who was then in competition In the snow; to be won three limes, not necessarily in succession, to become the property of the winner, and to be open only to animals reI jrlstered in the .Vow Zealand Jersey Herd i Book. It was further Laid down that the j Judge be from the Association's official list, and that the prize schedule for Jerseys In the show be nut of less cash value than In the year preceding:, rxrlnslrp of the value of the trophy.
