GTSBORKE, Thursday. Attempts that are being made to refloa.t the ytar of Canada from, the rocks on Kaitai beach are largely dependent on the weather. The steamer continues •to plough in-to-4he papa rock at the bows, and hear head is now submerged at low tide, -whilst a* the stern she is only about, Oft. ftin. deep in the water, having lifted over 2ft. since last 'Saturday. Good progress is being made, with the discharging of the jrrain from. No. 3 hold. The loose gra'ui is being s-hing to -the top deck in baskets, and deposited overlxiard, whilst the unbroken sacks are likewise landed on the deck, when men slit the bags with knives and then jettison their contents.
