IN THE rEDEBAL HOUSE. " STUNTING " THE CIVIL SERVICE. MELBOURNE, June 20. In the Federal House of Representatives to-day Mr. Deakin (Xeader of the Opposition) moved an amendment to the Addxess-in-Reply to the effect that the Government merits censure for its failure to realise its constitutional obligations, and its flagrant neglect of its duty to secure industrial peace and good order, maladministration of the Public Departments, gross partisan action in regard to appointments, and its reckless irresponsibility in financial affairs. The House then adjourned until tomorrow.
