WELUSCTON,' this day, A-deputation from the Federation of Labour waited upon the W-ellingtoa Trades Council last night, and asked for the co-operation of the latter body inassisting the Waihi and Eeefton strikers. The Council was unable to see its way to comply with the request. It is understood that the feeling of. the Cbnncil was more favourable to.the fieeftan men. than to those at Waihi.
