OLYMPIC STRIKERS.
! CHARGED WITH DESERTION. LONDON", April 27. Fifty of the Olympic's sailors, who were arrested on a charge of desertion and refusing to sail, have been brought before the Court and remanded on bail till Tuesday. The Sailors and Firemen's Union repudiates the action of the strikes. The ! official's state that the strike was due to the local Seafarers' Union, which has seceded from the main body. SEAMEN'S DEMANDS. JjONDON. April 28. The Liverpool Seamens and Firemen's Union is making a demand for the right, of the union's representatives to inspect lifeboat accommodation on passenger steamers. An increase in seamen's wages to £4 10/ a month, and of firemen to £5 a month, is also demanded.
