POLICEMAN SHOT DEAD. (Received 11.55 a.m.) VANCOUVER, March 26. An insane Swede who was firing a revolver indiscriminately on the waterfront was ordered to cease by a policeman. The Swede replied by killing the policeman on the spot. A squad of poljce surrounded the cabin where the Swede had barricaded himself, and riddled the structure with bullets. The Swede was found dying inside from his wounds.
