ENGLISH MILITANTS OUTDONE THE ASSEMBLY TERRORISED. PEKIN, March 23. A mob of women, dissatisfied with the Nanking Assembly's lukewarmness in regard to the subject of women's franchise, invaded the Assembly buildings. The women smashed "the windows, mauled the guards, and terrorised the members into opening the question of their grievances.
