WAIKATO ITEMS.
(By Telegraph.—o"° Correspondent) HAMILTON, this day. George Ryan and George Shannon ■were to-day fined £5 for obscene language. Ryan was also sentenced to sis months' imprisonment for theft of a coat and a dog. FRANKTON, this day. A public meeting was held at Te Rapa last night, at which all the New Zealand Dairy Association's suppliers were present, to consider the difference in prices paid at small and large creameries. It was unanimously decided to communicate with .the Association with the view to reducing the margin between the two prices, also to ask that Home separated cream, delivered at the butter factory, be paid for at the same Tate as that delivered at the largest creamery.
