Vryden presided, aud words of appreciation- and 'were spoken toy” 'EVahs and''“Mil H. li. Hansen (Dominion-road), Mr. - F. Davies (Pousoahy), Mr. H. J. Xockney (Onohuuga), and Mr. C. Woods (Devonpor.t). Mr. Griustead came from 'the Homeland 'three years ago. Being oh the staff of 'the General Evangelistic Committee of the Church of Christ, having previously been on the stall .of -'the. Scotch..Evangelistic Committee. Strong expressions of regret were mado that Mr. Grinstcad had been allowed to go. Mr. Grinstead, tn reply, said that whilst he regretted the. oremnstances that led to'a removal to emother pant of the Dominion! 'the toIK of" Auckland”'mist remember that there were some districts that wete not so well off as they ware, and they must bo prepared to make some sacrifices for the cause they had at heart. With musical and elocutionary items, a moot enjoyable evening was spent ; -j/
