A tragedy is reported from Crabbe's Creek, near "Murwillumbah, where John Corich, a foreigner, shot Cissie Hulian in the breast through her bedroom window. Many more shots were heard during the night, and subsequently Corich was found dead with a bullet wound in his body. Miss Hulian's condition is serious. The murderer was infuriated with his victim because his suit was discouraged by her family.
