WAIKATO'S CLAIMS, iA COMMISSION" .APPOINTED* (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent). WELLINGTON, this day. A Commission, consisting of Messrs. E. S. Reid, S.M., of Wellington, W. Stewart, of Kawakawa (chairman of the Bay of Islands Acclimatisation Society), and F. Ryer (Wellington Acclimatisation Society), has been appointed to inquire, into and report on the claims of the Waikato Society for registration and jurisdiction over a portion of the present Auckland acclimatisation district.
