CLEARED BY CONFESSION. HUSBAND SHOT BY WIFE’S LOVER. (Received 10.10 a.m.) PARIS, September 4. The mystery surrounding the assassination of Monsieur Guillotin. near Tours, has been dispelled as a result of information supplied to the police by Mdlle. Laudre.au, a friend of Guillotin’s wife.

The latter baa now confessed. From this confession it appears that Mdlle. Laudreau and Paul Houssard, Madame'? conain and lover, shot the husband. Mdlle. Laudreau, oppressed by the secret, informed the police, and the confession followed. M. Houssard has been arrested.
