A seaman named Frank Roberts, about 45 years of aj.'e, was knocked down by a tram tar in Queen-street last nipht. and removed by the police to the hospital, where it was found he had sustained fractures to his libs. Svdney Dell, a carpenter, who resid"s in East street. Newton, had the misfortune to fall from ,1 scaffolding this morning. He was taken to the hospital. where medical oxmnination showed thai although the patient's back had been hurt, the injuries arc- not likely to prove serious.
