(By Telesraph.—Own CorreSDOndeut.) HAMILTON, this day. The death occurred at Tauwhare yesterday of dames Shaw, a very oid resident, aged 70. Mrs. Norman Taylor was thrown from a buggy yesterday and rendered unconscious, but no bones were broken. Steps are being taken here to form a Harriers' Club. At a meeting of the High School governors the question of the control of technical classes was raised, members being unanimous that the whole control work of the school must lx> in the hands of the governors. No action will be taken until the chairman inter views Mr. George George. The use of the school grounds and dairy was granted for teachers and classes on the application of Mr. George (George. A meeting of residents of Ngaruawahia, held for the purpose of deciding the best method of showing sympathy with the Roper familv, in their recent disastrous loss, deckled to rnts« a sum of money. £SO was subscribe lin the room, and an inlluential committee was appointed to further the movement.
