RACE WAR IN OKLAHOMA.
AFTER A LYNCHING. A NEGRO REDDLED WITH BULLETS. (Received 1.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, August 14. A serious race war is feared in Ehirant, Oklahoma, following the burning of a negro who assaulted a white woman. A posse of white men found the negro escaping across the country. They fired a volley, and the negro fell pierced by hundreds of bullets. The body was then burned.
