TO MBS. PROTO9UOCK. (Received 9.15 nan.) SINGAPORE, July fl. The Sultan of Selangar has granted a free pardon to Mrs. Proudloch:, -who was convicted of the murder of i\ friiend of hi?r husband named Steward, and was sentenced to death, the sentence txeing later commuted to life imprisonment.
