'- "tile Senate's Finance Committee refused to reconsider, as ordered, the Woollen Bill and the Farmers' Free List Bill, returning them to the Senate id take the sime chances, "as the Canadian Reciprocity Bill. The Committee reported on both adversely.- It is now conceded that the Reciprocity Bill's path is more difficult than ever. The Republicans do not desire to accept the democratic bills, and Jiave strong objections to the Wool Bill particularly. The Democrats will probably offer the Wool Bill as an amendment io the Reciprocity Bill, and a bitter fight is expected.
