NEW MORGUE SITE.

The Hospital arid Charitable Aid Board at a meeting yesterday'afternoon set apart a site at the Hospital Grounds for the erection of a morgue.

The chairman said that most of the members had visited the proposed site for a new morgue in company with members of the City Council. It was, therefore, unnecessary to discuss the matter. On his motion, it was resolved to grant the Auckland City Council a lease for 66 years, with the right of renewal for 21 years at the rent of one peppercorn per annum for a section 50ft ny 100 ft at the north-east corner of the Hospital ground, behind the observation cottage.
