A disorderly scene occurred yesterday in the House of Representatives, during which one member who felt himself ag° grieved challenged the Speaker, Mr. Joseph Cannon.

Mr. Cannon accepted the defiance, and returned an answer indicating his willingness to meet his challenger. The member then referred to Mr. Cannon's grey hair, but the Speaker retorted: "That needn't bar anything." The House cheered uproariously.
