(3y Telegraph.—Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, this day. The Hamilton Borough Council has decided that immediate steps .be taken to establish abattoirs. The Mayor said the matter had been seriously considered for years. A site had been agreed on some ■time ago, but the department exercise* forbearance owing to the Council having its hands full, but that unless work was done at an early date he understood the department would establish abattoirs at the Council's expense.
