BOXING.
GREEN Y. WENAND. All arrangements have now been made by the secretary of the Northern Boxing Association (Mr J. H. Trudgeon) for the meeting of Green, of Sydney, and Wenand, of New Zealand, Tvhicii is fixed for Wednesday nest, the 20th in at., at His Majesty's Theatre. The pair are in the very first flight of the bantam class, Green iia-viug an exceptionally fine record, -while Wenand is the well-known amateur champion, who has recently turned professional. Green and Wenand met a-t Napier last week, when, after fifteen rounds of fast and exciting boxing, Wenand "was declared the -winner on points. Green, wiring to a friend in Auckland, states that he -was greatly dissatisfied -with the decision,-and is anxious for the chance to turn the tables on his conqueror. In addition to the above, several amateur bouts have been arranged, and the carnival should be the most successful yet held toy the Association.
